Jet Engine Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform CFM56-5B/7B and CF6-80C2 special procedure workscopes
• Conduct pre- and post-lease/purchase inspections and on-wing repairs
• Execute hot section, top/bottom case repairs, and module replacements
• Manage engine test runs, preservation, and MPD tasks renewal
• Perform compressor/turbine blade and vane replacements
• Participate in inspections, cleaning, and material planning

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on mechanic experience with CFM56 or CF6-80C2 jet engines
• Fluency in English to read and interpret maintenance manuals and service bulletins
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts to support ad hoc hospital shop visits
• Strong sense of ownership, teamwork, and a motivation to share knowledge
• Ability to pass a security clearance conducted by Finavia Oyj and SUPO
