Jefe de Producción

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the manufacturing process and corrective equipment maintenance during assigned shifts.
• Manage resources and implement strategic guidelines to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Monitor quality inspections and implement corrections to meet customer requirements.
• Supervise TPM checklists to detect and correct equipment anomalies.
• Control input and energy consumption to stay within established objectives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 22000, and 45001 standards.
• Promote continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, etc.).
• Foster team development through regular supervision, review, and feedback.

Requirements

• University degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (Required).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles within manufacturing environments (Required).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Required).
• Advanced knowledge of statistics (Required).
• Intermediate English level (Required).
• Availability to work on a rotating shift schedule (Required).
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and result-oriented skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP systems.
• Knowledge of statistical control software such as QAS or Minitab.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, VSM, Six Sigma, SMED, TPM, Kaizen).
• Certifications or diplomas in Quality or ISO Internal Auditor (9001, 14001, 45001).
