Jefe de Operadores

Responsibilities

• Manage daily status and location tracking of tractor-trailers via system and yard inventory.
• Assign units to operators, ensuring all documentation, keys, policies, and highway tags are provided.
• Monitor units experiencing mechanical failures or transit delays.
• Coordinate with the workshop manager for preventive and corrective maintenance scheduling.
• Oversee the verification and authorization of daily liquidations and payments for operators.
• Manage operator payroll administration, including extraordinary perceptions and budget adherence.
• Supervise operational KPIs including fuel performance, productivity, safety, and service levels.
• Conduct interviews for road operator candidates to ensure full staffing coverage.
• Enforce company discipline, safety protocols, and operational policies.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports regarding operational status, expenses, and mileage.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or fleet management.
• Completed university degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Deep knowledge of logistics, transport, tractor-trailers, and trailers.
• Proven experience in fleet administration and personnel management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
