Responsibilities

• Control and generate hospital reviews through expense management protocols to ensure compliance with hospital agreements.
• Detect overcosts, potential fraud, and/or improper expenses to mitigate unjustified payments.
• Negotiate medical care for cases where responsibility must be assumed under different policy branches.
• Design treatment plans in coordination with attending physicians for prolonged stays to mitigate hospital stay costs.
• Ensure the integration of internal files to guarantee proper customer service.

Requirements

• Degree in Medicine (Titulado).
• Experience in the GMM (Gastos Médicos Mayores) insurance sector.
• Knowledge of hospital internal processes and medical areas.
• Experience as a medical examiner or in health services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in administrative processes.

• Monthly gross salary of $24,425.
