JEDEC MTS Hardware Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and manage Micron’s DRAM module standards function within JEDEC committees, task groups, and technical forums
• Set technical direction for module architecture, electrical and mechanical requirements, timing, signal integrity, and interoperability
• Lead multi-functional engineering teams to ensure coordinated delivery of standards proposals and responses
• Translate industry standards into internal architecture frameworks, design guidance, and business decisions
• Influence external and internal partners to advance Micron’s strategic interests and represent the company in technical settings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Significant experience in hardware development, system architecture, or standards leadership for DRAM modules or high-speed memory subsystems
• Demonstrated ability to manage critical technical functions with high autonomy and strategic decision-making authority
• Experience leading execution through multi-functional teams or distributed technical contributors
• Strong working knowledge of JEDEC standards and memory interface technologies
• Excellent technical communication and influence skills across organizational boundaries

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct leadership experience within JEDEC or other industry standards organizations
• Experience with DDR5, DDR6, RDIMM, LRDIMM, MRDIMM, CAMM, or similar technologies
• Proven success leading cross-company technical initiatives with broad organizational impact
• Familiarity with signal integrity, timing analysis, and compliance methodologies
