Java/Database Developer

Responsibilities

• Hands on design, development, testing and deployment of PnL renovation project for FX Cash and FX Derivatives products
• Working closely with colleagues in the FX technology team and other technology teams that relay on FX transactions and PnL calculations
• Dealing with users that span sales and trading, office of FX EM COO, controllers and operations to clarify business requirements
• Obtain agreement on implementation approach and deployment of new solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional development experience
• Strong core Java skills
• Strong fundamentals in multithreading, algorithms, and OO
• Solid data modeling, database design, and performance tuning skills
• Proficiency with XML
• Strong communication skills to express ideas clearly and concisely

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Foreign Exchange Trading systems
• Experience with Design Patterns including MVVM
• Experience with DB2 and/or Sybase tools
• Strong problem solving, mathematical, and analytical skills
