Java Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a collaborative Agile and DevOps culture.
• Define and execute the technical strategy and architecture for scalable, secure, and high-performance FinTech applications.
• Design, develop, and deploy Java-based microservices using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
• Architect and maintain microservices-based systems on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Ensure application security and compliance with financial regulations and data privacy standards like GDPR and PCI DSS.
• Optimize application performance and reliability through proactive monitoring using tools like DataDog, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and business leaders to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Java development.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership or management role.
• Deep expertise in Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, JDK 17+) and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and automated CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Knowledge of big data and messaging systems like Kafka or Hadoop.
