Java Sr. Developer- Backend

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications using Java microservice architecture to support AML FIU investigations
• Create comprehensive case management user interfaces and enhance automated search capabilities
• Develop enhanced visualizations for transactional summaries to improve operational efficiency
• Improve case summarization features and the alert/SAR creation processes
• Participate in architectural discussions and provide technical guidance to ensure best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate project requirements into technical specifications
• Take ownership of the development process from prototyping to refining user stories
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality

Requirements

• Mandatory experience in Compliance Functions (AML, Transaction Monitoring) within the Banking & Financial industry
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
• Experience with frontend technologies including React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Expertise in cloud-based technologies and containerization services like Kubernetes or Docker
• Strong database skills with SQL and Oracle
• Understanding of Kafka architecture and experience developing KSQL queries
• Experience with REST API platforms and testing via Postman or Insomnia
• Knowledge of application security platforms such as OAuth 2.0 and SAML
• Proficiency with testing frameworks including JUnit, Mockito, Karma, and Jasmine
• Experience with GIT, CI/CD processes, and Agile practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Actimize solutions (SAM, RCM, etc.)
• Background in Financial Services
