Java Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on coding and peer code reviews to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Translate customer and business requirements into functional, consistent applications
• Design, develop, and maintain continuous integration, build management, and deployment scripts
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, demos, and sprint planning

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Intermediate level of English proficiency
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Extensive experience with Java web technologies, specifically the Spring framework (Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot)
• Proficiency with ORM tools such as JPA and Hibernate
• Experience working with microservices and cloud environments, specifically Azure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, or VueJS
• Knowledge of setting up CI/CD pipelines and addressing web security issues
• Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) or AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for research and debugging
• Ability to write clear, contextual prompts for code generation and documentation
