Java Senior Software Engineer - IT

Responsibilities

• Provide SRE support for Java-based applications to ensure stability, reliability, and performance.
• Lead complex feature development and mentor teammates within the IT Software Engineer team.
• Support security, compliance, incident management, and end-of-life (EOL) initiatives for a large portfolio of applications.
• Manage and support applications hosted on PCF and KOB platforms.
• Troubleshoot enterprise applications built on Java, .NET, Salesforce, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Drive automation across the delivery lifecycle to improve release efficiency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience with RESTful services and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, including query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, Git, and Jenkins.
• Proven ability to develop clean, maintainable, and testable code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting end-of-life (EOL) initiatives, including Linux and Windows server migrations.
• Track record of improving release efficiency through process standardization and automation.
