Java Fullstack Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and build next-generation business applications for pension solutions using Java backend and JavaScript frontend technologies.
• Work closely with Requirements Engineers, Solution Architects, and Product Owners to translate requirements into actionable development tasks and stories.
• Act as an active member of the full-stack development team to deliver high-quality software that enables business growth.
• Ensure the highest quality of delivery by implementing rigorous quality measures, unit testing, and test automation scripting.
• Manage the full development lifecycle, including comprehensive documentation and end-to-end integration.
• Provide technical guidance and advice to development colleagues across global locations including Zurich, India, the Philippines, and Northern Macedonia.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java Backend development.
• 5+ years of experience in JavaScript Frontend development using React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing REST APIs and understanding end-to-end integration.
• Proficient in SQL and RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL), including creating DML/DDL scripts.
• Experience with Cloud-native technologies, including Microservices, container technology, and DevOps practices.
• Proven experience working within Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working within the financial services industry.
