Java Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Build high-throughput, low-latency applications and scalable microservices to support global communication use cases
• Write efficient, scalable, and well-tested code within distributed systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality
• Propose scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective technical solutions
• Estimate development effort for new features and implement effective testing strategies
• Embed AI-assisted engineering into daily practices to accelerate delivery and enhance outcomes

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in Java for backend services
• Strong experience with multi-threaded architectures, web services, and caching
• Practical experience deploying code in modern environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong focus on testing and a customer-first mindset
• Proficiency with cloud environments (AWS preferred) and messaging/caching tools like Kafka and Redis
