Java DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain software applications using Java
• Implement new product features and adapt technology stacks for Kubernetes/Azure Cloud
• Automate deployments and implement CI/CD pipelines using Shift-Left principles
• Monitor application metrics with dashboards and alerting
• Resolve incidents and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and post-mortems
• Motivate teams to grow in DevOps and SRE maturity

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Java Software Developer
• Proven experience as an Operational Engineer
• Experience with DevOps/SRE principles and on-call duties
• Knowledge of software design for Cloud native solutions
• CKAD certification or willingness to obtain it
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Observability platforms
• Experience working in Scrum or Kanban environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Dutch language proficiency at B1/B2 level
• Ability to pass a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct) screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure
• Experience applying AI in the work area
