Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using the Quarkus framework
• Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices for banking applications
• Integrate applications with core banking systems and third-party services
• Participate in system design, code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization
• Ensure applications comply with banking security, regulatory, and compliance standards
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Support application deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in Java development
• Hands-on experience with the Quarkus framework
• Strong knowledge of Java, REST APIs, Microservices, Maven, Git, and SQL
• Mandatory experience in the banking or financial services industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience integrating with Core Banking Systems, payment systems, or digital banking platforms
