Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
- Drive system design and architecture discussions for new and existing services
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps teams
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Identify performance bottlenecks and design robust solutions
- Contribute to improving development processes, automation, and CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework
- Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Expertise in relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
