Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop Windows applications and integrate with COTS systems using Java
• Develop and execute unit testing scenarios using JUnit
• Create technical design documentation using Microsoft Word and Visio
• Develop and implement secure REST and SOAP APIs
• Support production systems, handle incidents, and troubleshoot with business users
• Write and optimize complex Oracle queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions
• Perform technical analysis, architecture, and documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of Java-based application development experience
• 4 years of experience developing applications for Windows OS using Client-Server or Web architecture
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, REST, and SOAP web services
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented analysis and design
• Experience with SpringBoot, Hibernate, JPA, JSP, Servlets, XML, and JSON
• Knowledge of relational databases, specifically Oracle 19c
• Experience with WebSphere 9.x or WebLogic 12c
• Experience with HL7 and 3rd party product integration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, DevOps, UCD, and Veracode
• Experience with ExtraHop, Dynatrace, and Splunk
• Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• Integration experience with Salesforce (CRM)
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Experience in the Oncology or Healthcare industry
• Knowledge of Roche uPath or Denovo’s FCS Express applications
