Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems
- Create well designed, testable, efficient code
- Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Assist in preparation and production of software component releases
- Ensure designs comply with specifications
- Investigate new technologies for architectural review and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Java Developer
- Solid experience in software development and test-driven development
- Significant experience designing applications using Java EE platforms
- Deep knowledge of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management)
- Experience with Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
- Proficiency in Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
- Knowledge of web frameworks such as JSF, Wicket, GWT, or Spring MVC
- Sun Java Developer Certification
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
