Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and scale the backend of the platform powering consumer experiences for brand owners and sellers
• Inspire, recruit, and mentor engineering colleagues
• Operate in a scalable engineering culture leveraging decoupled systems and automated CI/CD, testing, and monitoring
• Work closely with Product, Design, User Research, and Product Marketing teams
• Coordinate with product management stakeholders to scope and plan projects

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of total experience with 2+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
• Strong skills in SQL or MySQL
• Deep familiarity with the web application development process
• Experience with written and deployed code (backend, frontend, or full-stack)
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration & Deployment and Unit Testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Front-end technologies like TypeScript, JavaScript, or React
• Experience with Node server frameworks such as Koa or Express
• Scala or Spark experience
• Experience with AWS (S3, SQS), Docker, and Kubernetes
