Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end development activities including requirement gathering and solution design
- Develop detailed designs, coding, and unit testing
- Develop portal components using Liferay
- Write test cases and create test scripts with minimal documentation
- Map and document business processes from start to finish
Requirements
- 3-5 years of web portal application development experience
- Hands-on experience with Liferay, Java Spring, Struts, Hibernate, JSP, J2EE, and Java Web Services
- Experience implementing portals using Liferay
- Knowledge of MySQL databases
- Ability to work independently in environments with little documentation
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in both onsite and offshore models
- Ability to interact effectively with technical and functional stakeholders
