Java Developer & Java Lead

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 11+/17 and Spring Boot
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and external systems
• Build and implement microservices-based architecture for scalable applications
• Work with JPA/Hibernate for database interaction and ORM mapping
• Design and optimize queries using PostgreSQL and work with MongoDB for NoSQL data storage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best development practices
• Assist in deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting applications

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Java development (for Developer role)
• 6+ years of experience (for Lead role)
• Strong experience with Java 11+/17
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework
• Experience with JPA / Hibernate
• Strong knowledge of REST API development
• Experience working with Microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with MongoDB
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with Docker containerization
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
