Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Manage user stories and technical activities from the refinement stage through to deployment
• Act as a proactive "owner" of assigned tasks within an agile development environment
• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using modern Java and Angular frameworks
• Implement microservices and micro-frontend architectures
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and adherence to best practices

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Full Stack Java development
• Proficiency with Java 17 and the Spring Framework (Boot, Cloud, Data, and Security)
• Experience with Angular 17, TypeScript 5, and Node.js
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, CosmosDB, or HBase)
• Experience consuming REST services and using API clients like Postman or Insomnia
• Proficiency with Git (Bitbucket or GitHub) and Maven
• Experience with unit testing using JUnit and Mockito
• Understanding of MVC and Hexagonal Architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus
• Familiarity with Clean Code, SOLID principles, and TDD/BDD methodologies
• Experience with DevOps tools like SonarQube, Jenkins, or ArgoCD
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot
• Azure Certification is a plus
