Java Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features for FinTech applications using Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.x
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code focused on performance and maintainability
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend application functionality
• Collaborate with senior engineers and Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical designs
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure codebase stability and quality
• Debug and resolve issues while ensuring adherence to security and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2-4 years of professional experience with Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.x
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture and RESTful API development
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and SonarQube
• Proficiency in automated testing tools including JUnit, Mockito, and PITest

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of DevOps automation tools such as Jenkins
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React
• Experience in FinTech, including payment systems, transaction processing, and PCI-DSS compliance
