About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of new product features and support modernization efforts
- Maintain and improve existing payment technology applications
- Evaluate technical solutions and identify potential technical risks during the design phase
- Perform work decomposition, estimation, and code reviews to ensure high quality
- Collaborate with the entire Scrum team, including mobile developers, to meet Sprint goals
- Document technical solutions and contribute to the maintenance of CI/CD practices
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial experience with Java
- Proficiency with Spring Boot and Microservice architecture
- Experience with NoSQL databases and Cloud-based environments
- Hands-on experience with Apache Camel or WebFlux
- Conversational proficiency in both Czech and English (written and spoken)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently within a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS services (EKS, Lambda, S3, etc.)
- Background in FinTech or experience with payment processing
- Knowledge of AI Agents
- Experience using Jira for Epic and User Story management
