Java Backend Developer Consultant II

Responsibilities

• Develop code for intermediate to complex modules following high-level architecture and development standards
• Participate in design reviews, conduct code reviews, and ensure all code meets quality standards
• Create accurate test plans, conditions, and data, and participate in module and integration testing
• Identify and resolve support issues, providing technical assistance for complex problems
• Execute change management activities to support production deployment
• Create enhanced technical documentation and implement system changes
• Collaborate with business partners to design technology solutions that improve operational efficiency

Requirements

• 4 or more years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor's Degree (4-year program)
• Proficiency in Java 8 (required)
• Experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs
• Strong understanding of microservices-based architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java 17
