Java Back-End Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust and high-performance Java / Spring Boot applications
• Implement and evolve microservices and event-driven architectures
• Manage relational (PostgreSQL / SQL) and NoSQL (Couchbase) databases
• Apply TDD best practices and optimize test coverage
• Improve code quality using SOLID, YAGNI, Sonar, and performance optimization
• Analyze and optimize application performance (scalability, response time, load)
• Participate in the full software lifecycle (design, development, production, run)
• Integrate into a DevOps environment (CI/CD, Git, Kubernetes)
• Deploy and operate applications in containerized environments
• Contribute to the diffusion of best practices and craftsmanship
• Work within a Scrum methodology

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java Back-End development
• Significant experience in distributed architectures and DevOps environments
• Expert level proficiency in Java
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Microservices, and Event-driven architecture
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in French
• Analytical mindset and continuous improvement orientation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the retail or large-scale distribution sector
