About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain a suite of Java applications
- Participate in all Agile ceremonies and update Jira tasks daily
- Troubleshoot complex issues in production and non-production systems
- Learn new technical skills to meet project and customer needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of work experience or equivalent
- Experience supporting Java applications and frameworks like Spring
- 2 years of development experience with JavaScript or Angular
- 1 year of experience in an Agile environment using Jira
- Experience writing automated unit tests
- Ability to obtain government clearance (DoD Secret, DHS public trust, or DoD Top Secret)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Bamboo, Jenkins, or SonarQube
- Experience deploying to Cloud environments like AWS
- Experience with AngularJS
- Experience with JMS (e.g., IBM MQ, ActiveMQ)
- Experience with relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL
- Experience with Linux
