Japanese Language Instructor

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging one-to-one Japanese language lessons tailored to the student's level, goals, and learning style
• Focus on improving the student's fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to support continuous improvement
• Encourage active participation and build the student's confidence in speaking and understanding Japanese
• Adapt teaching methods and pace based on the student's evolving needs
• Maintain clear and professional communication with the student and project manager

Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese
• Proven experience in teaching Japanese as a second language, preferably in a one-to-one setting
• Strong knowledge of Japanese grammar, pronunciation, and usage
• Ability to create engaging and personalized lesson plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, flexibility, and a student-centered approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Japanese, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
• TEFL/TESOL certification or equivalent
