Janitorial Staff

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping floors, and cleaning walls and windows
• Maintain cleanliness of washrooms, including hourly checks and restocking supplies
• Remove garbage from waste containers and clean up litter on walkways
• Use proper cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment
• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials and blood-borne pathogens according to regulations
• Ensure mall is ready for opening and cleaned at closing time
• Perform leaf blowing and power washing in designated areas

Requirements

• Working knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment
• Familiarity with proper use of cleaning chemicals in compliance with regulations
• Understanding of hazardous materials and blood-borne pathogen disposal procedures
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
