Janitor/Cleaner (Light Duty)

Responsibilities

• Maintain floors through vacuuming and damp mopping
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, common areas, and entrances
• Replenish supplies such as toilet rolls, hand towels, and soap
• Dust office cubicles
• Clean and polish chrome and metal surfaces
• Spot clean walls, partitions, light switches, doors, and window sills

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to communicate with supervisors and the public
• Fingerprint security clearance required for military base access

Preferred Qualifications

• Floor care experience (scrubbing, buffing, polishing)
• Knowledge of stripping and waxing floors
• WHMIS certification (training can be supplied)
