Standard Bots is building the next generation of industrial robots -- hardware that's powerful, affordable, and designed to scale. Our Glen Cove manufacturing facility is where that product comes to life, and keeping it clean, safe, and running right is foundational to everything we do.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and scrub production floors on the assigned schedule
• Empty and re-line trash and recycling bins and haul waste to disposal areas
• Wipe down common surfaces, workbenches, break tables, and shared tooling stations
• Keep walkways, exits, and safety equipment clear and visible
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and restock supplies
• Clean and restock break rooms, including microwaves, counters, and sinks
• Consolidate trash and recycling and move waste to designated pickup points
• Track cleaning supply usage and flag the Facilities Lead when low
• Follow all facility safety rules, including PPE and wet-floor sign usage
• Report unsafe conditions like spills, leaks, or blocked exits immediately

Requirements

• Ability to read and follow written instructions, chemical labels, and safety signage in English
• Physically able to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, reach, and climb ladders
• Reliable transportation for evening shift hours
• Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience cleaning a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial facility
• Experience operating floor scrubbers, buffers, or powered cleaning equipment
• Familiarity with OSHA workplace safety basics and SDS / chemical handling
• Forklift or pallet jack experience
• Experience working in active production environments
