Janitor/Grounds Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of all site facilities, including floor buffing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
• Maintain sanitary conditions in bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Maintain facility grounds through grass cutting, hedge trimming, edging, and shrub pruning
• Manage landscaping tasks such as planting grass, spreading fertilizer, and applying pesticides
• Follow written procedures to complete tasks with minimal supervision

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months of combined experience in grounds maintenance and janitorial work
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
• Clean motor vehicle driving record to authorize driving company vehicles

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Registered State Pesticide Applicator certification
• Previous or active Secret security clearance
