Janitor

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect station areas including entrances, concourses, platforms, and washrooms
• Sweep, mop, spot clean, and clean high-touch surfaces
• Replenish washroom supplies and complete required inspections
• Use auto-scrubber and auto-sweeper equipment as needed
• Complete prioritized work orders and report to quality assurance
• Report graffiti, damage, or hazards to supervisors
• Perform periodic deep-cleaning tasks and machine scrubbing
• Collect garbage and perform interior/exterior litter pickup

Requirements

• Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Ability to pass a clear criminal background check
• Comfortable using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of cleaning or janitorial experience
• Experience with floor care and machine scrubbing
