IWT Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve the daily operations of Industrial Wastewater Treatment (IWT) plants
• Prepare work packages and execute/report work scope in an organized and systematic manner
• Coordinate upgrades and maintenance tasks with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams
• Act as a subject matter expert for specific portions of the plant following onboarding
• Evaluate process requirements and specifications for all water treatment systems
• Represent associated risks and benefits during discussions regarding changes in operations, technology, or projects

Requirements

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• 2+ years of experience in an engineering environment related to water treatment
• Working knowledge of water chemistry and general unit process technologies for industrial wastewater treatment
• Experience working within an operating industrial environment
