IVI OS Engineer (Network)

Responsibilities

• Customize and optimize Ethernet frameworks for stable communication between Android devices and other vehicle systems
• Design reliable, low-latency communication structures suitable for automotive environments
• Implement network system frameworks using packet filters, routing tables, ip rules, VPN, and proxy settings
• Implement and operate remote Radio/Wi-Fi HAL for external modems or integrated wireless devices
• Integrate RILD (Radio Interface Layer Daemon) and Radio HAL for LTE/5G connectivity
• Provide optimal network paths across PANS, OEM Network, Vehicle Network, and general internet networks within AAOS

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Linux/Android network system programming
• Experience in VLAN-based network separation and ip rule-based network control
• Experience using and developing network frameworks such as iptables or ebpf

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of Android network architecture and Automotive Ethernet
• Experience with Android HAL development and network debugging tools
• Experience with automotive communication standards and in-vehicle networking environments
• Experience in network security
