IV&V Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define integration and test environments for hardware and software integrated systems
• Manage, develop, and execute automated test plans including system-level testing and validation
• Collaborate with cross-functional hardware and software engineering teams to ensure performance
• Decompose interface requirements and architecture to support integration activities
• Perform troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and functionality
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to enhance product features and performance

Requirements

• Active and transferable U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance required on day 1
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Experience with DoD systems engineering processes, Technical Reviews, Audits, and MIL-STD compliance
• Proficiency in managing requirement traceability matrices using tools like IBM DOORS or Cameo
• Proven experience in IV&V activities, including hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) and software testing
• STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience (or an Advanced Degree with 3 years of experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with voice communication systems and VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, SRTP)
• Hands-on experience with tools such as MATLAB, Python, Robot Framework, Selenium, or Ansible
• Knowledge of MBSE model development using UAF and the Cameo tool suite
• Familiarity with configuration management and writing comprehensive discrepancy reports
• Knowledge of military specifications such as MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461
