ITOPs Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support IT operations and manage project platforms within a LAB environment.
• Create and support auto-deployment processes for preconfigured OS images on specific hardware.
• Manage platform and virtual application migrations between physical/virtual and public/private cloud environments.
• Set up hardware platforms, manage virtualization, clustering VMs, and oversee OS licenses.
• Develop network plans for ATS systems, including switch and routing configurations.
• Support site installation teams with network configuration and troubleshooting during commissioning.
• Assist end users with the installation of product-specific software on virtual or physical platforms.
• Monitor technology advancements and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Communications, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience as an administrator in multi-OS environments supporting medium or large-scale networks.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux administration, including security and performance tuning.
• Strong expertise in network administration, IP addressing, and switch/router configuration.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Proficiency in scripting for the automated setup of computers, drivers, and network configurations.
• Solid understanding of hardware, BIOS, and computer performance (CPU/memory).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work flexible hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• ITIL certification.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Experience with Windows OS customization for OEM image building.
• Experience with network/system management tools, asset tracking, and license management.
