IT Technician

Responsibilities

• Support users and ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, networks, and devices
• Implement and maintain IT solutions on-site
• Act as the local Level 2 IT contact and serve as a central interface to central teams
• Troubleshoot issues, escalate when necessary, and ensure business continuity
• Train and guide end-users on IT systems and processes
• Apply IT security, compliance, and corporate standards
• Contribute to local rollouts and report on progress regularly
• Maintain documentation and communicate clearly with site management

Requirements

• Degree as a Fachinformatiker or 3+ years of practical IT support experience
• Solid knowledge of Networking, VMware, Microsoft Server, and Microsoft Clients
• Experience providing Level 2 technical support
• Proficiency in hardware troubleshooting and cabling
• Good command of both German and English
• Strong communication skills and ability to support non-technical users
• Reliable, organized, and solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic, multicultural environment
