IT Technical Trainer

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging IT technical training sessions tailored to the audience's skill level
• Develop training materials, including manuals, presentations, and exercises
• Assess participants’ understanding through evaluations and provide feedback
• Provide hands-on training on various IT systems, software applications, and tools
• Answer participants’ questions and address any technical issues during training sessions
• Collaborate with the IT team to stay updated on new technologies and incorporate them into training
• Maintain records of training activities and participant progress

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Technical Trainer or similar training role
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, software applications, and related technologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner
• Experience developing training materials and conducting hands-on sessions
• Flexibility and adaptability to work within a short-term contract (2 weeks)
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in IT training or relevant technical areas (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft Certified Trainer)
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and virtual training tools
• Experience with adult learning principles and instructional design
• Previous experience working in consulting or client-facing environments
