IT Tech Services System and Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support IT Technical Services and infrastructure evolution for the Iberia region
• Drive, execute, and deliver timely IT projects and assess technical solutions
• Manage IT infrastructure obsolescence and implement Tech Services strategy
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support, diagnosing and resolving IT faults via the help desk
• Maintain all PC, Server, and Network hardware and software
• Manage the IT lifecycle for users and devices, including hardware installation and setup
• Provide support for network and telephone communications
• Participate in an out-of-hours support rotation for critical business activities

Requirements

• IT Engineer degree in a relevant discipline
• Multiple years of experience in 2nd and 3rd line IT support and project management
• Expertise in Windows Server, Windows Workstations, and Active Directory
• Hands-on break-fix skills for IT hardware including servers, storage, network, and cabling
• ITIL qualification
• Core Microsoft Certifications
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Portuguese

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of VMware Virtual platforms and Cisco networking command line operations
• Experience with IBM AS400 operations and Solarwinds Networking/Server modules
• Familiarity with VPN/mobility solutions and local network architecture
• Proficiency in troubleshooting printer hardware and mobile operating systems (Android/iOS)
