About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a regional team of Service Desk Specialists, providing feedback and supporting performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement of daily operations, team routines, and ways of working.
  • Prioritize incidents and service requests to ensure timely and reliable resolution within the ITSM system.
  • Handle complex L2/L3 support cases and escalate suspected security incidents to Group Security.
  • Coordinate user onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Manage regional IT assets, including inventory, laptops, and mobile equipment.

Requirements

  • Degree in IT (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics) or comparable vocational training.
  • Proven experience in IT, specifically in leading and coordinating IT teams.
  • Strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM); ITIL certification is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Windows client OS, Office 365, and collaboration tools like Teams and Exchange.
  • Experience providing L2/L3 support.
  • Native or fluent German and very good English communication skills.
  • ADA certification or willingness to obtain it with company support.

  • Knowledge of servers, storage, and networking.
