About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a regional team of Service Desk Specialists, providing feedback and supporting performance.
- Drive continuous improvement of daily operations, team routines, and ways of working.
- Prioritize incidents and service requests to ensure timely and reliable resolution within the ITSM system.
- Handle complex L2/L3 support cases and escalate suspected security incidents to Group Security.
- Coordinate user onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Manage regional IT assets, including inventory, laptops, and mobile equipment.
Requirements
- Degree in IT (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics) or comparable vocational training.
- Proven experience in IT, specifically in leading and coordinating IT teams.
- Strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM); ITIL certification is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Windows client OS, Office 365, and collaboration tools like Teams and Exchange.
- Experience providing L2/L3 support.
- Native or fluent German and very good English communication skills.
- ADA certification or willingness to obtain it with company support.

- Knowledge of servers, storage, and networking.
