IT & T Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install and configure hardware, operating systems, and applications on-site
• Maintain and monitor the Airport’s IT&T systems and networks
• Diagnose and resolve first-level hardware and software issues
• Supervise external providers at the Airport’s IT&T Main Distribution Frame (MDF) and Secondary Distribution Frames (SDFs)
• Receive, secure, and record IT&T hardware assets in the local inventory
• Identify end users’ needs proactively during daily airport walk-throughs
• Stay updated with technological trends and recommend innovations

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, Electronics Engineering, or similar
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in Aviation
• Extensive knowledge of telecommunications cabling infrastructure (Category 5, 5e, 6, 6a, and 7)
• Experience in hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Fluency in Greek and English
• Availability to work in shifts
• Fulfilled military obligations, if applicable
