IT Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the JumpCloud directory end-to-end, including user lifecycle, SSO, MFA, and device management for macOS, Windows, and Linux
• Administer Google Workspace tenant, enforcing security controls, DLP rules, and managing Google Vault
• Deploy and manage Sophos Central (Intercept X / XDR) for endpoint and threat protection
• Design and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, VLAN segmentation, VPN, and enterprise Wi-Fi
• Manage the full hardware lifecycle for macOS, Windows, and Android devices, including XR/VR hardware
• Operate and improve the Information Security Management System (ISMS) for GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 compliance
• Provide escalation-level troubleshooting and ensure 24x7 high availability of core systems

Requirements

• 5+ years in IT systems or infrastructure engineering
• Hands-on expertise with JumpCloud (Identity, SSO, MFA, device management)
• Deep Google Workspace administration experience
• Hands-on Sophos endpoint/XDR administration
• Strong networking knowledge (Firewalls, VLANs, VPN, RADIUS/LDAP)
• Proven experience leading organizations through GDPR, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 audit cycles
• Proficiency in troubleshooting macOS, Windows, and Android
• B.Sc. / B.Tech in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline

Preferred Qualifications

• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor or CompTIA Security+/Network+ certifications
• Experience with compliance automation platforms like Sprinto, Vanta, or Drata
• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python
• Experience supporting 3D, XR, or high-performance computing workflows
