IT Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the corporate IT infrastructure, including the SaaS stack (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack)
• Manage identity and device trust by operating the MDM stack and enforcing security policies
• Build and maintain internal MCP servers and design AI agents to automate internal operations
• Manage endpoint hardening and fleet management for macOS and Windows environments
• Automate security tasks such as access reviews, alert triage, and onboarding/offboarding workflows

Requirements

• 4+ years in systems engineering, corporate IT, or a hybrid IT/security role
• Deep macOS fluency, including shell/Python scripting and configuration profiles
• Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as Rippling, Jamf, or Kandji
• Experience with Okta administration, including lifecycle management and device trust policies
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash and Python to build internal tooling
• Experience managing a SaaS stack and tool inventory
• Proficiency using AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar) in your daily workflow

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or operating MCP servers or LLM agents
• Familiarity with security concepts like zero trust, least privilege, and DLP
• Exposure to AWS IAM or cloud infrastructure
• Experience with device trust architectures like CrowdStrike or Okta Device Trust
• Proven track record of building internal provisioning or self-service automation tools from scratch
