IT Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for server operating systems, hardware, and related software.
• Troubleshoot application and operating system issues and provide Level 2 support to the IT Service Desk.
• Manage and administer Windows and Azure Active Directory environments.
• Install, configure, and decommission servers following established lifecycle provisioning processes.
• Administer on-premises Exchange and Exchange Online tenants, including mailbox configuration.
• Document system configurations and operational procedures to ensure standardized processes.
• Monitor system alerts using tools such as SolarWinds and collaborate with network and security teams to resolve issues.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in IT systems administration or a related field.
• Proficiency with Windows Server and hypervisor technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Azure Active Directory.
• Understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure and/or AWS.
• Foundational knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience using PowerShell for environment management.
• Familiarity with vCenter and SolarWinds.
