IT System- und Netzwerkadministrator

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of the local IT infrastructure at the Konz site.
• Maintain and develop networks, server/client environments, and production-related IT components.
• Handle incidents, service requests, changes, and technical malfunctions in collaboration with local and global IT teams.
• Manage production-specific hardware including scanners, mobile factory devices, forklift terminals, and label printers.
• Participate in IT projects, rollouts, maintenance work, and service transition activities.
• Document technical solutions, changes, and operational information.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of availability, security, and IT service quality.

Requirements

• Completed IT vocational training, a degree in Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
• Practical experience in IT infrastructure, IT operations, service desk, or technical support.
• Strong knowledge of network technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing.
• Experience with Cisco networking products and Microsoft Server/Client environments.
• Interest in production-related IT and industrial technical devices.
• Understanding of ITIL processes or a strong willingness to learn them.
• Excellent German language skills (mandatory for site collaboration) and good English skills.
• A structured, solution-oriented, and service-driven way of working.
