About the role

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage server infrastructure, including hosts, VMs, clusters, and Storage Area Networks (SANs).
  • Perform Tier 1 alert triage, proactive remediation, and reporting on system metrics.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues, including client FTP sites.
  • Support SOC II and partner audits by providing necessary evidence, artifacts, and reports.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation for assets, processes, and procedures.
  • Identify redundant processes and develop automation tools to improve efficiency.
  • Assist in managing vulnerability and risk management programs and testing disaster recovery plans.
  • Coordinate product code and operational changes through DevOps pipelines.
  • Participate in on-call support and scheduled after-hours or weekend maintenance.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in server, storage, database, and backup administration.
  • 5+ years of expertise in the Microsoft Stack (Windows Servers, Clusters, Hyper-V, IIS, .Net, SQL Server).
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies including Load Balancers, Firewalls, Switches, and Routers.
  • Advanced automation and scripting skills using PowerShell.
  • Proficiency with networking tools such as packet capture, nmap, tracert, and putty.
  • Experience working within ITIL, Agile Scrum, and SOC 2 certified environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and complex technical environment.
