IT Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide level 1-2 technical support for workstations, networks, peripherals, and software licenses
• Diagnose and resolve incidents to minimize impact on VFX production
• Document tickets in ITSM tools and follow SLAs
• Prepare, configure, and deploy Windows, Linux, and macOS workstations
• Maintain hardware inventory including high-performance GPUs and graphic tablets
• Plan and execute internal workstation moves and network connectivity setups
• Offer specialized technical assistance for projection and review sessions (dailies, client screenings)
• Maintain editing and viewing stations including calibration and color monitoring

Requirements

• 1 to 5 years of technical support experience in VFX, post-production, or critical IT environments
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux systems
• Understanding of Python and PowerShell scripting
• Proficiency with ticketing tools (JIRA) and deployment tools (Ansible, Intune, Kandji)
• Familiarity with VFX/post-production software (Autodesk, Adobe, Nuke, Houdini, Unreal)
• Good understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN)
• Essential fluency in English for international collaboration
