IT Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for PCs, printers, phones, and peripherals
• Resolve support tickets and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or vendors
• Build, rebuild, and configure PCs and install new hardware or software
• Manage user accounts, password resets, and rights management across internal and external systems
• Deliver equipment to remote locations, including occasional travel and overnight stays
• Provide technical guidance and field leadership to PC Technicians
• Maintain IT inventory and oversee day-to-day operations for equipment outside the Data Center
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for critical after-hours issues

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years in an IT Technician or similar technical support role
• Proficiency in Microsoft networking and familiarity with Cisco networking
• Experience working in a .NET environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Proficiency in IP phone systems, iOS, and Android devices
• LAN/WAN troubleshooting skills
• Ability to move and transport equipment weighing up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in Windows 11
• CompTIA A+ Certification
• CompTIA Network+ Certification
