IT Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to end-users in a manufacturing environment
• Manage cabling and patching, including connecting devices to switches and routers using copper and fiber
• Install and configure hardware such as PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, and telephony systems
• Perform PC and laptop staging with correct user profiles and update the CMDB
• Diagnose and troubleshoot device malfunctions, cabling issues, and network/security problems
• Maintain accurate documentation of port usage, patching, and backbone cabling modifications
• Manage local equipment stock and assets while monitoring for environmental risks like temperature or leaks
• Register and track all support requests, communications, and documentation through ServiceNow

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of IT support experience
• Proficiency in the Dutch language is mandatory
• Strong troubleshooting and fault detection skills
• Hands-on knowledge of copper and fiber cabling
• Experience with PC/laptop staging and hardware support (printers, scanners, telephony)
• Proficiency with ServiceNow ticketing systems
• Working knowledge of O365 and SAP support
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment is a significant plus
