About the role
Responsibilities
- Work closely with IT staff and consultants to maintain the firm's technology systems and environment
- Follow company IT security protocols to maintain network integrity and compliance standards
- Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Log, track, and resolve support tickets using help desk software
- Assist with the setup and deployment of workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and conference room equipment
- Provide timely notifications to users regarding system changes or outages
- Assist with planned office expansions and occasional travel as required
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Previous experience in a Helpdesk environment
- Proficiency in basic network cabling tasks, such as creating patch cables and installing structured cabling
- Ability to lift and/or move equipment up to 50 pounds
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
